In this essential role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling linen supplies, ensuring that all areas of the property are stocked with fresh linens, and supporting the overall cleanliness and presentation of the facility. Duties
- Collect, transport, and distribute clean linens to various departments within the property in a timely manner
- Collect soiled linens from guest rooms, laundry areas, and other designated locations for proper disposal or cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen storage areas to ensure easy access and inventory control
- Assist with loading and unloading linen deliveries, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage
- Support housekeeping staff by providing linens as needed to facilitate efficient room cleaning and preparation
- Monitor linen inventory levels regularly and communicate shortages or supply needs promptly
- Follow safety procedures when handling heavy loads or operating equipment to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and stand for extended periods throughout shifts
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing linen supplies
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to handling linens and operating equipment
