PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR
LOCATION: Louth, Lincolnshire

HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10:30pm
SALARY: £35,500 - £36,500 pa (DOE)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and proactive Production Co-ordinator to support the effective operation of our busy cleanroom laundry facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong team leader who is passionate about driving operational performance, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and supporting the development of people and processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production targets are achieved while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the plant, driving continuous improvement and supporting the achievement of production goals.
The role requires active participation in daily production meetings and supporting team briefings through the effective use of Visual Management (VM) boards, KPIs, and other relevant operational information. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shift activities and providing cover for morning or afternoon shifts during periods of absence, annual leave, or project-related secondments.
The health, safety, and wellbeing of the team, alongside delivering the required quality standards to our customers, must remain the highest priority at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take responsibility for the efficient operation of the plant during designated shifts and provide a cost-effective service at all times.

Lead, support, and develop team members to enhance individual skills, team performance, and operational efficiency.

Monitor, manage, and act upon key performance indicators (KPIs) using Visual Management tools, ensuring accountability and ownership throughout the team.

Support initiatives to reduce excessive working hours, resource waste, and overproduction.

Ensure processes are effectively managed to maintain high levels of customer service.

Monitor production activities to ensure products are dispatched accurately, safely, and on time.

Assist with stock management to ensure production requirements are met while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels.

Identify, propose, and support the implementation of process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

Promote and maintain a strong culture of health, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Act as a key point of communication between production teams and management to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
