We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our growing Intumescent Paint Division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on construction sites and wants to develop a career within the passive fire protection industry.
The successful candidate will assist our experienced intumescent paint operatives with the preparation, application and completion of fire protection coatings on structural steelwork across a range of commercial construction projects.
Previous experience in intumescent painting is not essential, as full training will be provided. However, construction site experience and a positive attitude are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting intumescent paint operatives on site.
- Preparing steelwork for coating, including masking and protecting surrounding areas.
- Mixing and preparing materials in accordance with manufacturers' guidance.
- Loading, unloading and organising materials and equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assisting with airless spray equipment, cleaning pumps and spray lines.
- Supporting with access equipment, including MEWPs and scaffolding where required.
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times.
Pay: £140.00-£150.00 per day
