Café Team Member (25 Hours per Week)

Buntastic is a growing independent family-run coffee shop in the heart of Sevenoaks. We are looking for a friendly, proactive and reliable Café Team Member to join our team on a long-term basis.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a busy café environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is happy to support the team wherever needed.
What you’ll be doing
Taking customer orders confidently at the till and handling payments
Preparing and serving buns and food items
Delivering food and drinks to customers during busy periods
Supporting with basic coffee preparation when needed
Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the café
Working calmly under pressure and supporting the team during busy service
Assisting with opening and closing duties when required
What we’re looking for
Someone who is friendly, reliable and enjoys working with people
A proactive person who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
A strong team player with a positive attitude
Excellent customer service skills – warm, welcoming and professional
Previous café or hospitality experience is preferred
Availability to work 25 hours per week across 5 days, including both Saturday and Sunday
Someone who can commit to a regular long-term weekly rota
Flexibility to provide additional cover when required is appreciated
Typical Weekly Schedule
Monday – Off
Tuesday – 8:00am–5:00pm
Wednesday – Off
Thursday – 10:00am–2:00pm
Friday – 10:00am–2:00pm
Saturday – 10:00am–2:00pm
Sunday – 10:00am–2:00pm
Some flexibility may be required to cover holidays or staff absence.
