An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spa Receptionist to join the team at The Cliff Hotel & Spa. Our spa is highly popular with both hotel guests and external visitors, offering treatments, spa days, and wellness experiences in a relaxing coastal setting.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent guest experience. Responsibilities include managing bookings via telephone, email, and in person; warmly welcoming guests; ensuring the smooth running of spa visits; maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health & safety across spa and pool areas; and confidently promoting spa treatments and products.
While an interest in health and beauty is advantageous, it is not essential—full training will be provided, including use of our booking systems and product knowledge, to ensure you feel confident in the role.
Working Hours
Full-time roles typically involve 32–40 hours per week, across 4–5 days (Monday–Sunday), with a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts as scheduled by the Spa Manager. The role includes working every other weekend, offering a balanced and predictable rota.
About You

Previous experience in a customer service or spa environment is desirable but not essential. Access to reliable transport is advantageous due to limited public transport in the area.
Pay
Hourly rate starts from £12.85 per hour for applicants aged 21 and over (above National Minimum/Living Wage). Rates for those under 21 may vary in line with statutory guidelines.
