Wage: up to £12.71ph + tips
Working hours: Hours will fall between the times of 9.00am and 5.00pm. We have various shifts available throughout the week (however you will be asked to cover at least one weekend day per week).

Wilkin & Sons Ltd boast 7 tea rooms and a Jam shop across Essex and Suffolk. Due to an increase in demand we are now looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Assistant in our Chelmsford based tearoom. We are seeking those that are flexible, and able to cover at least one weekend day per week.
We are ideally seeking someone with previous kitchen experience so they can hit the ground running although experience is not essential, and training will be provided.
We are looking for great people to join us to uphold our high standards of exceptional service, ensuring our dining customers have a pleasant and comfortable experience. Our team members are role models for outstanding service and make each customer feel valued, whether they are visiting the tea room for the first or the twentieth time.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Food preparation including meals, cakes, and hot and cold drinks
- Assisting the Chef, helping to keep the everyday operations running smoothly
- Maintaining excellent standards of personal, food and kitchen hygiene
- Adapting and producing dishes to meet special dietary, religious and allergenic requirements
- Communicating internally and externally with customers and colleagues
- Generally helping to keep the everyday operations running smoothly
