About Farm Originals Restaurants
We are expanding our head-office team and are on the hunt for an energetic and commercially minded Events & Marketing Coordinator.
Farm Originals Restaurants is a growing hospitality group in the City of London, close to Farringdon. Our venues include Origin City, our British fine-dining restaurant; 56 West Smithfield, our neighbourhood wine bar; and Farm Shop by Origin, our deli and café.
Each venue has its own identity, but they share the same commitment to quality ingredients, provenance, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
About the Role
This is a new central role with a strong focus on increasing event bookings and generating revenue across the group.
You will manage event platforms and guest enquiries across all our venues. By understanding each venue’s offer, availability and guest experience, you will recommend and sell the most suitable option for every enquiry.
You will take ownership of platforms including SevenRooms, OpenTable, TheFork and Tagvenue. You will ensure our listings, availability, event packages and promotional content are accurate, attractive and fully optimised.
You will work closely with our Head Chefs and management teams to coordinate special events, menus and seasonal campaigns, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and other key occasions.
The marketing side of the role will support this commercial focus. You will help plan newsletter content, promote our venues and experiences, and maintain an active and consistent presence across our social media channels.
About You
You are organised, energetic and commercially aware. You enjoy speaking with guests, understanding what they are looking for and turning an initial enquiry into a confirmed booking.
You are confident managing several venues, platforms and deadlines at the same time. You communicate clearly, follow up consistently and take ownership of your work.
Experience in hospitality reception, reservations, events coordination, venue sales or another guest-facing hospitality role it's a must. We would particularly welcome applications from experienced receptionists or reservations professionals who are ready to move from venue operations into a central coordination role.
You should have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to guest enquiries and revenue opportunities.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence using booking systems, digital platforms and shared calendars.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with chefs and venue management teams.
- An understanding of how hospitality venues operate.
- Confidence creating clear, engaging content for newsletters and social media.
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to support a growing business.
Experience using SevenRooms, OpenTable, TheFork, Tagvenue or similar platforms is highly desirable.
Basic wine knowledge would be welcome, particularly when promoting our wine bar and developing guest packages, but this is not essential.
