Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points to ensure high availability and security.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement improvements to enhance system stability.
- Configure, maintain, and support cloud-based platforms such as AWS and Azure to facilitate scalable IT solutions.
- Develop and enforce network security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, manage operating systems like Windows and Linux, and support enterprise applications including Oracle and SQL databases.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python to streamline operations within DevOps environments.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for new projects, ensuring smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for deploying scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Proficiency in managing operating systems such as Windows and Linux with a focus on security and performance tuning.
- Experience working with databases like SQL and Oracle to support data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java for automation, integration, and application development.
