Windermere Manor Hotel is looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals to join our Food & Beverage team on a flexible basis up to 20 hours per week, support us at busy times. As part of our small and dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service across a range of food and beverage operations – from breakfast and restaurant dining to bar service and special events. Every guest should feel cared for, and your warm approach will help make that happen.
What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting guests with a smile and providing attentive service throughout their visit
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks in a timely, courteous manner
- Supporting breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and bar service
- Setting up and clearing down restaurant and event spaces
- Preparing basic drinks and operating the bar (training provided if needed)
- Communicating with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving minor issues with professionalism
- Following hygiene, health and safety, and food safety standards
- Operating the till and handling payments accurately
- Maintaining stock levels and reporting shortages
- Assisting with occasional functions, meetings, and group events
What we’re looking for:
We’re after team players with a genuine desire to provide great service. You’ll need to be reliable, well-presented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is key, as shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Experience in hospitality is a bonus, but not essential – we’re happy to provide training. If you have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or knowledge of allergens and food safety regulations, that’s great too.
