Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team and be based on one site or over various sites as required. The overall purpose of the role is to oversee and run commercial and residential construction projects providing day to day operational support, looking after on-site workers as well as liaising with clients.
Job Duties:
Successfully deliver projects in a timely and cost effective manner
Liaising with clients, architects and designers and reporting on progress.
Supervising on-site team of joiners, and sub-contractors
Identifying and Ordering materials for each phase of the project
Measuring of quantities as required
Monitoring build costs and project progress
Tracking changes to the projects design and highlighting to management team
Conducting quality and safety inspections
Checking and preparing site reports, checking designs and drawings
Maintaining quality control checks
Motivating the workforce
Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Skills / Qualifications:
Previous Experience as a Site Manager in Construction Industry
Black or Gold CSCS card and SMSTS qualified
A time served trade background
Experience of residential and commercial projects is preferred
Excellent analytical and IT skills
Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
Planning and Organising skills
Negotiation and Communication skills
Benefits:
Salary £45,000 - £65,000 (scaled depending on experience)
Minimum 40 hours per week
28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
