We are a growing site investigation and structural investigation company carrying out a wide range of works including trial pits, window sampling, coring, shoring, dynamic probing, and general ground investigation activities.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our team as a Self-Employed Ground Worker / Site Operative.
This role involves assisting the team with daily site activities, including:
- Mobilising and demobilising equipment
- Digging trial pits
- Assisting with coring, window sampling, probing
- Shoring and excavation support tasks
- General labouring duties
- Supporting structural investigation tasks as required
- Following site instructions and adapting to project needs
Hours
Start times vary depending on the project, however most days are 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Minimum CSCS Labourer Card – essential
- Experience in groundworks, civils, or ground investigation preferred
- Must be reliable, physically fit, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Bonus / Preferred Tickets (Not Essential)
Having any of the following tickets is a strong advantage (but not required):
- Digger driver / Excavator ticket
- CAT & Genny
- Street Works (NRSWA) Operative
- NPORS / CPCS machinery tickets
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Banksman / Signaller
