Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service to enhance their experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including food prep stations and display counters
- Support in upselling products by recommending menu items and promoting specials to boost sales
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and food delivery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment
Experience
NOTE: if you do not have any familiar experiences you are still welcome to apply as you will be trained with everything you must know/need to succeed in our team!
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with serving customers, taking orders, and managing cash or POS systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills are essential for accurate order handling and inventory management
- Kitchen or culinary experience helps in understanding food prep processes but is not mandatory for success in this role
- Strong time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- A proactive attitude towards upselling enhances sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
