Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents alike. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, and communal areas, according to established standards
- Perform deep cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and polishing surfaces
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and organised throughout the shift
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs politely and efficiently
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered advantageous but are not essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Experience with specialised cleaning equipment or techniques is a plus
