Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff
- Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients
- Help manage food production processes to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Contribute to team management by collaborating effectively with colleagues and following instructions
- Participate in supervising junior team members and supporting their training when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health regulations
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for guests when required, ensuring excellent hospitality
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, restaurant service, or hospitality preferred but not mandatory
- Basic kitchen experience including food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with some supervising or team management experience
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards
- Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
