HGV Direct Ltd is recruiting for a Fixed‑Term Maternity Cover position lasting 12 months, with a structured handover prior to 14 August 2026. The role starts at our established Castle Donington site and will move to our new Shepshed branch upon its launch in November 2026, offering the chance to be part of an exciting phase of growth.
Job Overview
At HGV Direct, we are committed to supplying high-quality commercial vehicle and HGV parts to customers across the UK. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Sales Advisor with experience in car or commercial vehicle parts to join our team and support our continued success.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, plus two Saturdays required per month (8.00am from 12.00pm).
Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service.
- Provide professional advice and support to customers, ensuring they receive the correct parts and a consistently high standard of service.
- Apply Product Knowledge.
- Use your technical understanding of car or commercial vehicle parts to accurately identify and recommend suitable products.
- Drive Sales Performance.
- Proactively promote and sell our extensive range of parts and accessories to both trade and retail customers.
- Manage Stock Effectively.
- Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels and support ordering processes to ensure availability of key products.
- Prepare Accurate Quotations.
- Produce timely, competitive quotations tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Work Collaboratively.
- Liaise closely with colleagues across sales, warehouse, and management teams to ensure efficient operations and excellent service delivery.
Skills

Work Location: In person at Castle Donington Branch initially – relocating to Shepshed later this year.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
