We are recruiting for a Team Leader to join our lovely Team at The Glassmakers Cafe in Brockwell Park.

Roots & Berries is an independent family run group of unique cafés in beautiful locations. We run our cafés in some of London’s most treasured neighborhood spaces, including The Skylark Café on Wandsworth Common and The Rookery Café on magical Streatham Common...this is a great time to join us as we are looking to expand and have lots of opportunities to grow with us in the future.
About You
Our Team Leaders directly support our café Managers. They will step in to lead the shift at any time the Manager is called away from customer service (e.g. whilst on a break, helping customers, liaising with the kitchen, or dealing with administration). Depending on a team leader’s level of experience and the size of the site, they may also run the shift on a Manager’s days off or during absence due to illness.
To be a Roots & Berries team leader you will need the following:
● A positive, friendly outlook and lots of energy
● The ability to stay calm and problem-solve under pressure
● A clear yet kind communication style
● To be a champion of our five Roots & Berries values (kind, safe, community spirited, resourceful and adding a touch of magic to people’s days!
