Duties
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials
- Digging trenches, holes, and foundations using manual tools or machinery
- Assisting with the installation of fencing, drainage systems, and other groundworks
- Supporting the safe movement and positioning of materials and equipment on-site
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure health and safety compliance
- Assisting with site inspections and reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors
- Supporting team members with various tasks as directed to ensure project timelines are met
Requirements
- Previous experience in ground works or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety procedures diligently
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
hourly rate dependent on experience and certification
Pay: £19.00-£22.00 per hour
