The setting
kinderzimmer Chelmsford Nursery is a unique and enchanting early childhood haven nestled in a quiet residential area just a short distance from Chelmsford train station and local bus routes. Our 84-place nursery, housed in a characterful detached building across two floors, exudes charm and warmth. The light-flooded rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere for our little learners to explore and thrive. With a separate enclosed sandpit for outdoor play and a dedicated kitchen area, we encourage a holistic approach to education, allowing children to not only discover the joy of learning but also to appreciate the world around them. What you will be doing
As a valued member of the team, you will supporting educational activities through your daily tasks, which includes but is not limited to;
- maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for children, staff and families.
- Ensure the cleaning supplies, nappies and equipment are properly stored and stocked
- Fulfilling the laundry responsibilities
- An eco champion who promotes sustainability, recycling and proper disposal of waste
- Support the kitchen activities including setting up and clearing meal times
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to the delivery of your tasks
