About Us Teamworks is a multi-venue fast-paced, customer focused go-karting provider dedicated to delivering safe, high-performance experiences. We are looking for an experienced and confident Race Director to lead our track operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, organisation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee karting activities and ensure races run safely and efficiently
· Lead and manage race marshals and track staff during events and daily operations
· Enforce race rules, safety procedures, and track regulations
· Deliver clear and engaging driver briefings
· Monitor races in real-time and make quick, decisive judgments on incidents
· Coordinate race schedules and liaise with front of house and technical teams
· Handle customer issues professionally and fairly
· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies
· Maintain accurate records of incidents, race results, and operational reports
Requirements
· Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role (motorsport or leisure industry preferred)
· Strong understanding of safety procedures and risk management
· Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
· Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Confident in enforcing rules and managing challenging situations
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Basic IT skills preferred but not essential
