We are looking for an experienced SimCorp Consultant to support a major investment management transformation programme, with a particular focus on fee management, investment accounting and month-end close.
This is a hands-on functional consulting role for someone with strong SimCorp accounting/ABOR experience who can work across accounting, investment operations, technology and implementation teams. You will help configure and validate fee processes, establish robust month-end procedures, lead testing and ensure the solution is ready to transition into BAU operations.
- Configure and validate investment management fees within SimCorp, including management fees, performance fees, ad-hoc fees, fee credits, operational expenses, accruals and true-ups.
- Support SimCorp accounting configuration and ensure fee-related accounting processes are correctly reflected within the platform.
- Design and document the end-to-end month-end close process, covering data dependencies, processing timelines, system sequencing, controls and workflows.
- Develop workflows and process documentation for fee accruals, adjustments, allocations and accounting close activities.
- Create and execute functional test scripts across SIT and UAT, investigating issues and supporting their resolution.
- Configure and validate reporting for month-end close, management reporting and external financial reporting.
- Develop a comprehensive Month-End Close Runbook to support ongoing operations.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams.
- Work closely with investment, accounting, operations, technology and implementation stakeholders throughout the programme.
- Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp / SimCorp Dimension, ideally across Investment Accounting, ABOR, Fund Accounting or related accounting functionality.
- Experience configuring or supporting investment management fees and fee accruals within SimCorp.
- Strong understanding of investment accounting, including accruals, reconciliations, general ledger processes and month-end close.
- Experience with SimCorp configuration, potentially including Finance Schemes, GL/posting rules, accounting workflows or related functionality.
- Proven experience working on major SimCorp implementations or transformation programmes.
- Strong SIT/UAT experience, including developing test scenarios, executing testing and resolving functional issues.
- Experience creating process maps, operational procedures, runbooks and other functional documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with accounting, operations, investment, technology and senior business stakeholders.
We would be especially interested in speaking with consultants who have worked with SimCorp Fee Management, Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, ABOR, Finance Schemes, GL configuration, fee accruals, NAV/reconciliations or month-end processing.
This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced SimCorp professional to take ownership of a critical functional workstream and play a key role in establishing the client's future-state investment accounting and operational processes.
