THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Lead to act as the business owner and strategic lead for CABI's finance systems landscape, including CABI Connect (Maconomy) and related planning, reporting and performance management platforms. Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will bridge Finance, IT, business stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure finance systems deliver robust financial control, efficient operations and actionable business insight. The Finance Systems Lead will be responsible for shaping the finance systems roadmap, prioritising enhancements, driving adoption, managing vendor relationships and ensuring maximum value is realised from CABI's investment in finance technology. Working across Publishing, Products, Projects and Corporate Functions, the Finance Systems Lead will combine strong financial and business process understanding with product ownership and change leadership skills to continuously improve systems, automate processes and support data-driven decision making across the organisation. Success in this role will be measured not only by system stability and performance, but by the delivery of measurable business outcomes, improved user experience, increased process efficiency and enhanced financial insight.
Pay: £51,992.00-£61,167.00 per year
