Skilled Labourer/Improver Required
Shovel + Spade is a landscape design and construction company based in Surrey. We have a modern approach to garden design and construction, undertaking high-end domestic projects with a range of scales. Every site is different and no day the same, so applicants must be up for a challenge and good at thinking on their feet.
Job Description:
We are looking for candidates who would like to build a career in the landscaping industry within a growing company. Some experience is preferred but not essential as we are looking for enthusiastic people who want to learn. The candidate needs to be punctual, well presented and polite, as they will be dealing with clients and other contractors. The candidate needs to be able to follow instructions, keep site tidy and organised, and carry out tasks as outlined by the site foreman.
Candidates must:
- Have a full clean UK driving licence
- Be reliable with good timekeeping
- Have a good attitude and enjoy their work
- Work to schedules and meet deadlines
- Carry out work to a high standard with an eye for detail
- Be physically fit and able for the job
Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Keeping site organised and tidy
- Importing materials and equipment
- Mixing gauges with consistency
- General maintenance of tools and equipment
- Assisting the site foreman and other landscapers with their tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
