We're partnering with a large, complex organisation to recruit an experienced, qualified, Finance Operations Manager to lead a high‑volume transactional finance team and drive operational excellence across AP, AR and payment processes.
This is a senior role within the finance function, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, brings strong technical expertise, and enjoys improving processes, controls and reporting. You'll play a key part in modernising finance operations, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage high‑volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams

Oversee all AP/AR processes including invoice workflow, debt management, cash collection and ledger accuracy

Drive improvements in working capital, reporting cycles, budgeting and forecasting

Strengthen financial controls, risk management and compliance across transactional finance

Develop reporting, dashboards and commentary for senior leadership

Support system upgrades and process improvement projects

Build strong relationships across finance, operations and external stakeholders

Provide leadership, coaching and development to a busy transactional team
What We're Looking For

Qualified Accountant - essential

Extensive experience managing large transactional finance teams

Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, controls and compliance

Proven ability to operate in a large, complex organisation

Skilled in analysing high‑volume financial data and producing clear reporting

Confident leader able to motivate teams and drive change

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
