Housekeeper (Part-Time)
Location: Burley in Wharfedale, West Yorkshire
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced Housekeeper to help keep our busy family home running smoothly.
This is a long-term role for someone who enjoys creating an organised, welcoming home and takes pride in high standards of housekeeping.
Duties include:
- Thorough cleaning of the house
- Laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Keeping the kitchen, utility room and living areas clean and organised
- Dog walking
- General household organisation and tidying
- Occasional grocery shopping or errands
- Simple meal preparation (desirable but not essential)
- Helping keep on top of household supplies
About us
We are a busy household with three children and two friendly dogs. We are looking for someone who is proactive, discreet and able to work independently, noticing what needs doing without being asked.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in private housekeeping
- Honest, dependable and punctual
- Friendly and professional
- Comfortable around children and dogs
- Able to work to a high standard with attention to detail
- Someone looking for a long-term position
Hours
Approximately 10–16 hours per week (flexible), ideally spread over 3–5 weekdays. We are happy to discuss a schedule that works for the right person.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
