The Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bench Hand Joiner to join our workshop team. This is a varied role working on a wide range of bespoke joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing a range of bespoke joinery items, including:
- Internal and external doors
- Gates and external joinery
- Wardrobes and cabinets
- Occasional kitchens
- Occasional stair components
- Working from technical drawings and specifications
- Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Occasionally assisting with on-site installation (local projects)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bench joiner
- Strong background in traditional joinery
- Ability to confidently use all workshop machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Full driving licence preferred (for occasional site work)
