Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring dishes meet quality standards
- Support the senior team in supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and ingredient selection in collaboration with head chefs
- Oversee food production during service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing excellent service to guests when required
- Support training and mentoring of junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for culinary arts and a keen interest in developing leadership skills within the kitchen setting
- Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, or restaurant service is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- A recognised qualification in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £26,335.27-£28,000.00 per year
