Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical circuits, mechanical components, and schematics.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
- Perform welding repairs and mechanical adjustments to maintain equipment integrity and safety standards.
- Lead maintenance activities with supervision or independently, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Supervise junior team members or contractors during maintenance tasks, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance around operational needs while delivering excellent customer service internally.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming, troubleshooting, and integration within industrial systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial repair work.
- Solid electrical experience with a focus on industrial control systems and wiring practices.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing machinery maintenance, alignment, lubrication, and component replacement.
- Proven experience in plant or facility maintenance with a focus on safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting, instructions, and teamwork coordination.
- Supervising experience leading small teams or contractors during maintenance projects.
- Strong leadership qualities combined with a customer service mindset to support internal stakeholders effectively.
