Looking for Laundromat Assistant- Loughton
We are looking for a reliable, fast-paced and detail-oriented Laundromat Assistant to join a busy laundry business in the Loughton Area.
This is a hands-on role in a high-volume laundromat, where efficiency, care, and customer satisfaction are extremely important. You’ll be working as part of a friendly team helping to ensure customers’ clothing and household items are processed to a high standard and returned in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating commercial washing and drying machines efficiently
Sorting, tagging, and tracking customer items to ensure nothing is lost or mixed up
Carefully handling a wide range of clothing and fabrics
Folding, packing, and preparing completed laundry for collection
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-run workspace
Providing a friendly and professional service to customers when needed
Ensuring all items are treated with care and returned exactly as received

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail (this is essential)
Ability to stay organised when handling multiple customer orders
Respectful handling of customers’ personal belongings
