Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Support Officer to join our team. The Business Support Officer will provide operational, administrative, and client support across Asegun Limited's accounting, payroll, tax, outsourced legal cashiering, and cloud accounting services. The postholder will coordinate client onboarding, maintain business records, support compliance activities, improve operational processes, and ensure the efficient delivery of professional services to clients.
The role is central to maintaining high standards of client service, regulatory compliance, and business efficiency while supporting the firm's continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding of new clients, including collecting engagement documentation and conducting client due diligence.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure information is securely stored in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Schedule client meetings and manage communications with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor client service requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare engagement letters, business correspondence, reports, and client documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting, payroll, tax, and legal cashiering teams.
- Coordinate internal workflows to ensure assignments are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Assist with maintaining compliance records relating to HMRC, Companies House, and internal quality standards.
Person Specification
- Experience providing business or administrative support within a professional services environment.
- Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and meeting deadlines.
- Experience maintaining confidential business records.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and cloud-based business systems.
- Experience communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
- Experience within an accountancy, finance, payroll, or legal services organisation.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and document management software.
- Experience supporting project delivery or business improvement initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
