Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team at the Converted Stable, offering both full-time and weekend positions. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a welcoming environment. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to maintain quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage stock levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Adhere to health & safety guidelines at all times, including proper storage of ingredients and disposal of waste
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles
- Previous experience serving guests or customers is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
