Schedule of Work: Monday to Saturday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (54 hours per week)
Salary: £25 gross per hour
Children: 14-month-old twins
Location: North London (Live-out)
Other: French speaking (essential). Punctual, reliable, and experienced with toddlers and twins.
About the Family
Arthur's House is assisting a lovely French family who are relocating from Paris to North London for a short period of time dur to the father’s filming commitments.
They are looking for an exceptional, French-speaking temporary nanny to care for their delightful 14-month-old twins from early August until mid-September.
This is a busy but rewarding sole-charge role for a nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and loves creating an engaging environment for toddlers.
The Role
- Sole Charge Care: Full sole-charge responsibility for 14-month-old twins, prioritising their safety, routine, and happiness.
- Developmental & Creative Play: Design and implement fun, age-appropriate developmental activities, sensory play, and outdoor excursions to support the twins' development and milestones.
- Routines & Well-being: Keep to their feeding, nap, and play schedules, ensuring a calm and structured environment.
- French Immersion: Maintain a French-only or primarily French-speaking environment to encourage language development.
- Child-Related Duties: Manage children's meals, nursery cleaning, and laundry.
The Person
- Toddler & Twin Experience: Proven experience working with twins and very young children/toddlers.
- Language Skills: Native or fluent French speaker is essential.
- Dynamic & Gentle: A soft-hearted, patient, yet active and engaging professional who genuinely loves working with toddlers.
- Professional & Reliable: Highly punctual, organised, and reliable, offering great communication and parent partnership.
- Essential Qualifications: An enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid certificate, and the right to work in the UK are essential.
