Enchant Bar is looking for a reliable and hardworking cook to join our kitchen team.
The main shift for this role is:
Saturday: 12:30pm – 8:30pm
Additional hours may be available during busy periods and peak season, including occasional Friday evenings and Sundays.
The successful applicant must be confident working independently and managing the kitchen during their shift. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking food from our menu, managing incoming food orders and making sure everything leaves the kitchen to a high standard.
The role also includes washing dishes, cleaning down throughout the shift and keeping the kitchen extremely clean, tidy and organised at all times.
You will use our Enchant OS system to manage kitchen orders and other parts of the day-to-day kitchen operation. Full training on the system will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking food to our recipes and standards
- Working independently and managing your workload during service
- Keeping on top of food orders during busy periods
- Using the Enchant OS system
- Food preparation and stock organisation
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Keeping all kitchen and food preparation areas extremely clean and tidy
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
- Completing cleaning and closing duties as required
What we’re looking for:
- Previous kitchen/cooking experience is preferred
- Must be confident working independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to remain organised during busy services
- High standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Good communication and the ability to work alongside the wider team
- Must be available every Saturday
This is primarily a Saturday position of approximately 8 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional shifts during peak periods.
