Responsibilities
- Operate bulldozers with precision to level land, clear debris, and prepare sites for construction or excavation activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of the dozer to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to execute grading plans and site layouts accurately.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and work progress.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and protect the surrounding area.
- Assist with minor mechanical troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily operations smoothly.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating bulldozers or similar heavy machinery in a construction or mining setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Familiarity with excavators and other earth-moving equipment is highly desirable.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification is preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills.
