Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes according to standard recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, maintaining quality and consistency
- Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, including stock rotation and cleanliness
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times
- Follow all food safety protocols and maintain hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in meal preparation, serving, and handling multiple orders simultaneously is desirable
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on breakfast cuisine
