Caterpillas Under 5's is part of TNB Garrison Early Years and Play, operating a large open plan nursery located within the Tidworth Leisure Centre. The organization is dedicated to providing the best outcomes for children, families, and staff, fostering a supportive and communicative environment. We implement free flow between our toddler and pre-school room and are looking for the right person to lead our toddler room and work alongside the current senior team and the early years educators across all rooms. We are a term time setting, following Wiltshire academic calendar.
The position is for minimum of 8:50-3:05 Monday to Friday, term time, additional hours can be negotiated depending on the need of the nursery. We have 5 staff training days across the year which all staff attend and additional staff meetings.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise early years staff to ensure the delivery of engaging educational activities.
- Support the development and implementation of curriculum plans tailored to children's needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Ensure compliance with the EYFS.
- Contribute to team meetings and ongoing staff development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.

Experience and Person Specification
- Proven experience in nursery or early childhood education settings.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Passion and enthusiasm for Early Years
- Good team player and a sense of humour
Qualifications/Requirements
- Full and Relevant Level 3 qualification for Early Years
- Paediatric 12 hour First Aid (desirable)
- Good level of spoken and written English (Grade C/4 or above)
- Be on the DBS update service (desirable)
