We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Cocktail Waitress to join our café team. In this role, you'll provide excellent table service, prepare and serve cocktails and other beverages, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You'll work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure every customer enjoys a great dining and drinking experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive table service.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Promptly prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails and other beverages.
- Recommend menu items and upsell food and drinks where appropriate.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Handle cash and card payments using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, café floor, and service areas.
- Restock beverages, glassware, and bar supplies as needed.
- Verify customer age and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with licensing laws.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Resolve customer enquiries or concerns courteously and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, bars, or restaurants is essential.
- Knowledge of cocktails and alcoholic beverages is essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Right to work in the UK.
