Responsibilities
- Supervise the takeaway team, providing clear direction and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards
- Manage daily operations including order processing, packaging, and delivery coordination
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and service areas
- Train new team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and packaging supplies, placing orders as needed
- Resolve customer inquiries or issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction and repeat business
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on takeaway or delivery services
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary standards
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Ability to motivate and develop team members while maintaining high standards of service
- Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, or barista roles is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
