Job Title: Night Shift Ambient Team Leader
Hours of Work:
- 40 hours per week, Permanent - Full Time
- Monday - Friday
- 5.00pm – 1.30am with a 30-minute break
Salary: £33,340 per annum
Bonuses: £2500 per annum
Holidays: 25 Annual Days + 3 x Bank Holidays (New Year’s Day, Christmas Day & Boxing Day)
Description: The Ambient Team Leader will assist the Operations Manager and Night Shift Manager, and support the Mid Shift Operations Supervisor, with the daily co-ordination of Foodservice departments. The Ambient Team Leader will be responsible for the following specific tasks:
- Monitoring picker stats and ensuring picker targets are met
- Provide holiday and sickness cover for the Mid Shift Operations Supervisor
- Take on key holder responsibility for specific buildings and areas on shift.
Essential Skills/Requirements:
- Experience in using a warehouse management system and IT literate
- Ability to train staff on the night (use of equipment and job training)
- Ability to showcase past examples of achieving goals/targets through effective management of teams of employees
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Must be a self-starter and have the organisational skills to organise and plan their week through the guidance of the Operations Manager and Mid Shift Operations Supervisor
- Hold a current UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills/Requirements:
- Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licences
- Understanding of warehouse standards and procedures
