Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable PSV Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. As a PSV Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating passenger service vehicles to transport passengers efficiently and comfortably. Your role is vital in ensuring timely, safe, and courteous transportation services, contributing to a positive experience for all passengers. Duties
- Safely operate passenger service vehicles, including buses and shuttles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition, including checking mechanical components and safety equipment
- Transport passengers along designated routes, ensuring punctuality and comfort throughout the journey
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing assistance and information as needed
- Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger numbers, and any incidents or vehicle issues during shifts
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical problems promptly to ensure vehicle safety
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to guarantee passenger safety at all times
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
- Proven experience as a bus driver with a valid Cat D and in date CPC, digital tacho card prefered not not essential
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and knowledge of traffic laws
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle maintenance tasks or identify when professional repairs are needed
