The Governing Body of Cop Lane C.E. Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Business Support Officer 5 to join our friendly school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of financial and administrative services.
General duties include: welcoming parents and visitors; handling telephone enquiries; maintaining accurate records; following financial procedures for ordering and invoicing; updating systems; using school systems to record dinners, trips and income; and managing invoicing and registers for the schools breakfast and after-school club.
The successful candidate will need to be able to multi-task and work under pressure in a busy office environment, interacting effectively with pupils and parents as well as other professionals. Ideally, the person will have experience of school systems such as SIMS.net/ SIMs Finance and other school systems. However, training will be given to the right candidate.
The position is Monday-Friday. 37.5 per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The salary quoted is full-time equivalent, paid on a pro-rata basis.
