Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve high standards of hygiene
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
- Dispose of waste responsibly while adhering to health and safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and storage areas to ensure operational efficiency
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions precisely
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled times
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Positive attitude and reliability, with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
