Female Live-In Carer
Location: Thaxted, Essex
Contract: Consistent Live-In
Perk: Substantial downtime (Client attends day centre 3 days/week)
Essential Requirements
- Female Only: (Permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, Equality Act 2010).
- Driver: Full UK driving licence required.
- Experienced: Confident in personal and dementia care.
- Dog-Friendly: Happy to live with and fuss over a beloved Jack Russell.
- Right to Work: Legally entitled to work in the UK.
The Client & The Role
You will support an accomplished, independent-minded lady with a fantastic dry sense of humour and a competitive love for board games. We need an engaging, warm personality who takes initiative—not someone to sit quietly in the background!
Key Duties:
- Personal care, mobility support, and medication management.
- Preparing meals, light housekeeping, and running errands.
- Driving to appointments and social outings.
- Providing active, genuine companionship.
