Experienced Welder / Fabricator and Site Maintenance / Installation Operative
Due to our continued workload, Robinsons Longcliffe Ltd are looking to recruit experienced staff for two positions based near Matlock, Derbyshire.
These are experienced positions only and are not trainee roles.
Experienced Welder / Fabricator – Workshop Based
You will be joining our existing workshop team, carrying out general fabrication and assembly work, predominantly in mild steel.
Requirements:
- Proven welding and fabrication experience
- MIG welding experience is essential
- Able to work from engineering drawings
- Confident working independently on fabrication and assembly work
- Good standard of workmanship
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
Experienced Site Maintenance & Installation Operative
You will be working alongside our fabrication and site teams on customer sites carrying out a varied range of engineering, maintenance and installation work.
Typical duties will include:
- Installation of fabricated steelwork
- Installation and replacement of plant and equipment
- Routine mechanical maintenance and repairs
- General engineering and site-based works
Requirements:
- Previous site maintenance and/or mechanical installation experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Good practical and mechanical knowledge
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Trustworthy and able to work on your own initiative
- Comfortable working as part of a larger site team
- Willing to travel to customer sites as required
About the Roles
We are looking for dependable, experienced people who take pride in their work and want to become part of a busy engineering company with a strong and varied workload.
The work is varied and includes workshop fabrication, quarry and industrial maintenance, steelwork installation, plant installation and general mechanical engineering.
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire
