Contract Type: Fixed-Term (Mid October 2026 – End January 2027)
Hours: Primarily weekends, school holidays, half terms, and occasional weekday shifts
Please note: This role is heavily focused on weekends, school holidays, half terms, and the Christmas period. Applicants must be available throughout the contract period.
We are looking for two enthusiastic, reliable, and energetic team members to join us during our busiest and most exciting season of the year. From Halloween events through to Christmas and New Year celebrations, you'll play an important role in helping us create a fun and memorable experience for children and their families.
For the right candidates, there may be an opportunity to move into a permanent part-time position at the end of the fixed-term contract.
Main Duties:
- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Interacting with children and families in a friendly and professional manner
- Supporting birthday parties and seasonal events
- Assisting within the café area
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the centre
- Following health and safety procedures
- Helping create a positive, fun, and safe environment for all visitors
- Participating in themed events, including wearing costumes or themed clothing for Halloween and Christmas activities

Age Requirements
We are ideally seeking applicants aged 18 and over.
Applicants aged 16–17 are welcome to apply; however, they must include a cover letter explaining:
- Why they would like to work at Mega Kids World
- Their availability throughout the contract period
- Why they feel they would be suitable for the role
Due to the nature of the role, preference may be given to applicants aged 18 and over.
Important Information
Applications will be reviewed from 27th August 2026 onwards due to our annual summer closure. We encourage interested candidates to apply early, as interviews will be arranged following our reopening.
Full training will be provided.
