The Role: Relief Duty Manager Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where no two days are the same? As a Relief Duty Manager, you'll be the heart of our hostel operations, ensuring our guests feel welcome, safe, and supported. You'll be part of a friendly and passionate team, where your work will directly contribute to the YMCA Brunel Group’s charitable mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the face of our hostel, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Manage bookings, handle enquiries, and ensure our communal spaces are inviting and well-maintained.
- Safeguard the well-being of guests, resolving any issues swiftly and ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide local information to enhance our guests' stay and contribute to a vibrant community feel.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations, including handling room checks, managing maintenance issues, and addressing any guest concerns.
- Confidently manage night shifts, ensuring safety and peace of mind for all.

Hours: On an as when and needed basis - with the possibility of becoming permanent to the right candidate.
Pay: £13.51 per hour
