Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plant Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with a variety of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, and paving machines.
You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs, ensuring all equipment is kept in safe and efficient working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on a range of plant equipment
- Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of machinery
- Respond to plant breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out
- Work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction plant machinery
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence
