We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Utilities Administrator to join our growing team and keep our daily operations running seamlessly.
Job Purpose
As a Utilities Administrator, you will provide critical support to senior management and the compliance manager. You will be the main point of contact for tracking utility documentation, managing supplier data, processing invoices, you will ensure all project documentation strictly adheres to regulatory frameworks and internal audit standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management: Input, track, and update utility consumption and cost data using Excel and internal systems.
- Invoice Processing: Process and validate high volumes of supplier utility invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Supplier Liaison: Act as the primary contact for utility providers, local authorities, and contractors.
- Operational Coordination: Support scheduling for meter installations, connection requests, and site access permits.
- Customer Service: Efficiently handle inbound phone and email queries relating to utility accounts and contracts
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in an administrative role, preferably within utilities, construction, or property.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook with advanced capability in Excel.
- Skills: Exceptional organisational, time-management, and analytical data-entry skills.
- Communication: Comfortable working independently as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle internal teams and external suppliers.
- Attributes: A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
