Job Summary
The Customer Services Advisor will provide exceptional customer service, revelling in the quest to resolve issues and satisfy the needs of the internal and external customer.
As a given, you will have excellent communication skills and enjoy interacting with people on a regular basis. You will be a confident individual, with a drive to succeed, even when the pressure is on! Juggling multiple tasks simultaneously will be one of your many competencies, and you will have the ability to priorities your workload accordingly depending on the needs of the business.
You will be adept at handling difficult conversations in a professional manner, leaving the customer with a smile on their face! Of course, you will be able to process orders with both speed and 100% accuracy. You will constantly look to improve processes and procedures working in line with the strategic aims of the business.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
The role will have full responsibility for management of the International Orders Inbox which will involve:
- Processing all orders received within 24 hours.
- Interpreting customer requirements accurately.
- Checking orders raised against requirements to ensure all details have been captured.
- Resolving issues and overcoming hurdles along the way.
- Managing customer expectations if and when delivery dates cannot be achieved.
- Liaising with colleagues in different departments, aligning where needed.
- Ensuring delivery details are clear & correctly recorded in Sales Logix.
Essential requirements
- Excellent communication skills covering a wide range of methods including email and telephone.
- The ability to build great relationships with internal and external customers.
- Exceptional data input skills.
- The ability to understand and interpret customer requirements, questioning when not clear.
- Competent user of MS Office specifically Word and Excel.
- The ability to think creatively and propose innovative ideas for improvements.
- Resilience with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Any other reasonable duties to perform the role
Desirable
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge within the Automotive industry.
- Ability to converse in another European language.
