Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, but mainly pizzas so prior pizza experience is essential, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to health and safety policies, including proper handling and storage of food items
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
- Prior experience as a Pizza chef
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques
- Previous kitchen experience, ideally within a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- A passion for creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
