Bank Housekeeper
Location: Dorchester
Hourly rate: £13.50
Hours: Bank / flexible shifts
Shift pattern: Typically 08:00–14:00, with some flexibility
Reports to: Head Housekeeper
We are a small, independent residential care home based in the heart of Dorchester. With 23 rooms and a warm, homely environment, we are proud to be rated GOOD by the CQC.
We are looking for a reliable and caring Bank Housekeeper to join our team on a flexible basis, helping to cover staff absences, holidays and busy periods.
This is an important role in our home, helping us maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors and staff.
About the role
As a Bank Housekeeper, your main duties will include:
- Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, communal areas, ensuites and bathrooms
- Supporting with a variety of domestic tasks around the home
- Assisting with deep cleans when required
- Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Supporting with meal service where needed
- Assisting in the kitchen with light domestic duties when required

Previous experience is welcome, but not essential. What matters most is that you have:
